uCAN Connect is the Company’s cutting-edge, configurable, highly customizable and easy to use connection manager software platform. The software meets the operator’s requirements for a simple, modular, easy to use and easy to support connection manager that can be quickly customized to meet the needs of their different customers such as regional operating companies, MVNOs, end-user communities or resellers. uCAN Connect software reduces the operators’ costs that are typically associated with a connection manager through a unique combination of features such as the smart skinning engine for optimal customization, the possibility to add new software feature packs later on, the fact that the software is truly cross-platform (Windows, Mac OS or Linux) and the incorporation of an interface allowing new devices to be supported – either from Option or third party devices.
The iCON 505M USB modem itself has a sleek and robust product design, it can be used throughout Europe and brings true performance reaching down- and upload speeds up to 14.4Mbps and 5.76Mbps allowing transferring large files or handling high-quality streaming media at speeds that match or exceed those found in many homes and offices. The USB modem also features a micro-SD slot for storing applications and content such as documents, music files or video files. The USB modem is future proof as it is upgradable via the Internet making the integration of future networks standards possible as they become available in the operator networks.
