06.20 am – Option wins eMobile Business in Japan

3GSM World Congress Barcelona, SPAIN – February 12, 2007 – Option (Euronext: OPTI; OPNVY), the wireless technology company, today announced that it is supplying eMobile Japan with broadband wireless products. Option is currently shipping eMobile branded and customized products to the Japanese mobile operator in anticipation of the imminent commercial launch of data devices on its 1.7GHz HSDPA network.

eMobile Ltd. is a subsidiary of eAccess Ltd., a champion of deregulation in the Japanese telecommunications sector and now one of the country’s largest ADSL providers. Utilizing its broadband network and its ADSL and ISP business partnerships, eAccess established eMobile to enter the Japanese mobile carrier market. eMobile secured a 1.7GHz spectrum license in late 2005. eMobile plans to launch its services in March 2007 combining the latest in mobile technologies with highly innovative business models. eMobile’s principal shareholders are eAccess Ltd., The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Tokyo Broadcasting System Inc.
