Participations by VAN ZELE HOLDING NV (VZH)
Leuven, January 25, 2021 – 7h30 CET – CRESCENT NV (Euronext Brussels: OPTI), was requested by her major (reference-) shareholder VAN ZELE HOLDING NV to publish the following press release.
VAN ZELE HOLDING NV (VZH), with Mr. Eric VAN ZELE as its CEO, has long pursued strategic participations in innovative and/or promising technology companies such as Volta Ventures, BLCC, Crescent, etc.
In this context, VZH already holds a minority stake in a Dutch IoT company REMOTICOM HOLDING BV (and related companies), and is about to increase this participation, and may even acquire a majority stake in the future.
Such transactions will, in whole or in part, be executed through share swaps with CRESCENT NV shares.
The current transactions will however not reduce VZH’s shareholding in CRESCENT NV by more than 3%.
REMOTICOM HOLDING BV (www.remoticom.com) is a renowned OEM producer of IoT systems, mainly in the field of smart public lighting, smart cities and smart industrial systems. Its focus is mainly the Netherlands, and surrounding countries. Remoticom was looking for a strategic investor to help realise its growth objectives.
