Leuven, Belgium June 19, 2026 – Option NV, a leading provider of IoT and Edge Connectivity solutions, and ViaLinx.io™, a Connectivity Survivability software company, today announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) to establish a strategic cooperation focused on enabling Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to expand their portfolio of connectivity, business continuity, and cybersecurity services.
The cooperation combines Option’s newly announced CloudGate® NXS family of IoT gateways with ViaLinx.io’s embedded software platform and LinxBo.io™ cloud orchestration engine, creating a next-generation service platform that transforms connectivity from a basic utility into a mission-critical managed service.
As businesses become increasingly dependent on cloud applications, platforms and services, uninterrupted connectivity has become essential to daily operations. At the same time, Internet Service Providers are actively seeking innovative ways to increase customer retention, improve service differentiation, and generate new recurring revenue streams through value-added managed services.
The cooperation between Option and ViaLinx.io addresses these challenges by enabling ISPs to offer a new category of premium services. Unlike traditional failover solutions that rely solely on secondary WAN circuits or dedicated LTE backup, ViaLinx.io introduces a software-defined Connectivity Survivability architecture that can intelligently orchestrate available connectivity resources while maintaining visibility, security, and operational control. The combined platform is particularly well suited for environments where uninterrupted connectivity directly impacts operational efficiency, customer experience, security, and revenue generation. For example, a retail chain depends on continuous connectivity for payment processing, inventory management, cloud applications, and security systems.
