IMPORTANT: Firmware updates must be done on a PC running Windows 2000 or XP fitted with a type II (PCMCIA) slot. Before upgrading the GlobeTrotter firmware make sure the GlobeTrotter is correctly installed on the PC and inserted in the PC card slot. Connect the PC to the mains or make sure you have enough battery power !
Make sure the Mobility Manager application software or any other software using the Globetrotter PC is closed before proceeding.

Step1: check your current PC Card software = firmware version to see if you need upgrading.

Step2: to download the upgrade file on your hard drive, click the "download" button.

Step3: double click the to self-extracting .exe file.

Step4: to start the upgrade, run the "gt_flash_utility_rc.exe" file and follow the instructions on your screen.
