How can I setup a voice-call in a terminal window?

A voice call can be setup without a Voice-Application when a Terminal window is used.
 
For HyperTerminal (Win98/ME/NT/2000) this goes as follows:
1. Go to <Start> <Run> 

type: hypertrm (click OK) or go to <Programs> ... and look for <HyperTerminal> to start the program.
2. Enter any name (click OK) 
3. Enter any number (click OK) 
4. Select the Firstfone as your connecting modem (click OK) 
5. In the Window <Connect> select Cancel 
In the blank Window type: ate1 (press Enter) (even if nothing appears on the screen)
6. Type: atd123456; (press Enter) (were 123456 is the voice number you wish to call -- the ";" is necessary to initiate the call as voice)

A voice call is now being setup -- Make sure your headset is connected. 

To hang-up type +++ (do NOT press enter) and wait for OK to appear, type ath (hang-up) and press Enter
