ABOUT GTM478 (Models: MO 1201/ MO 1202)
The GTM478 Embedded module is the first Option module to be offered in a new form factor optimized especially for PDA,
Portable MultiMedia Player and Smartphone applications.
The GTM478 Embedded module includes Adcanced Receiver Technology (ART) offering the benefit of Receive Equalization,
essential for maximizing the benefit of HSDPA 7.2.
Initially supplied with HSDPA 3.6, the GTM478 Embedded module is field upgradeable when the network is configured for HSDPA 7.2.
Backward compatibility ensures HSDPA connections at lower data rates of 3.6 Mbps and 1.8 Mbps.
The GTM478 has inherent support for 3G operation at 384 Kbps as well as for EDGE and GPRS. Even more integration options are possible with the CS Voice and GPS capabilities of the module.
