Leuven - October 10, 2003 - Option (Euronext OPTI, NASDAQ Europe OPIN), the wireless technology company, will announce major partnerships and launch a new DATA CARD at ITU TELECOM WORLD 2003. The announcements will be made at a press conference on Monday October 13th at 14.30h | Room I (below Media Centre, Hall 1).

Option will be present at ITU TELECOM WORLD 2003 trade show (Hall 2, Booth 2184). During the tradeshow Option will show 2 innovative products.

1. GLOBETROTTER COMBO Card (Universal Tri-band WLAN | GPRS | GSM PC-radio card).
   
   Using WLAN the GlobeTrotter COMBO card reaches speeds up to 11Mbps. This makes it the ideal solution for high performance wireless functionality for laptops, notebooks and handheld PDA's. It enables users to make telephone calls, browse the internet, send and receive e-mails, and connect to the corporate server from conference rooms, training centers and public hotspots such as airports, shopping malls, coffee shops and hotels.
   
   
2. 3G GLOBETROTTER (Multimode Multiband UMTS/GPRS/GSM PC-radio Card)
   
   The 3G GlobeTrotter can be used on all UMTS/GPRS/GSM networks worldwide and reaches speeds up to 384kbps. The 3G GlobeTrotter is the best solution to deliver high performance wireless functionality for laptops, notebooks and handheld PDA's, and provides voice, high-speed data, as well as pictures, graphics, video communications to the mobile professional on the move.
