GPRS PC CARD AWARDED MICROSOFT CERTIFICATION

LEUVEN, BELGIUM – Leuven February 12th 2003–

data communication equipment today announced that its
GlobeTrotter Tri-band GPRS/GSM PC Radio Card has been
awarded Microsoft's Designed for Windows XP Certification.
This certification means that GlobeTrotter carries the
“Designed for Windows XP” logo thereby assuring
customers that their GlobeTrotter wireless product has
successfully passed a series of exacting Microsoft laboratory
tests ensuring the highest standard of quality, compatibility
and performance under Windows XP.
GlobeTrotter is a high performance GPRS data card that
provides wireless connectivity for the mobile professional.
Users of GlobeTrotter can send and receive e-mail, browse
the Internet and even schedule appointments while staying
synchronized with their office or home desktop computer
through the GPRS network. Simply plugging in the “hands-free”
earpiece, they can also convert their notebook or PDA
into a tri-band mobile phone compatible with all GPRS/GSM
standards anywhere in the world. Globetrotter is approved
on all major GPRS/GSM networks world wide.
