Psion Teklogix forms partnership with Option to introduce
radio functionality to mobile computing product range

HANOVER, GERMANY
– MARCH 13TH, 2002
Psion Teklogix, (LSE: PON) a leader in developing mobile
computing devices for industry has today announced that
it is entering into partnership with Option (NASDAQ EUROPE:
OPIN), a leading innovator in wireless communications.
The two companies have worked together to develop drivers
for the GlobeTrotter Universal Tri-Band GSM/GPRS PC?Card
Radio so that they can be integrated into a range of devices
in the Psion mobile computing portfolio. Option’s
GlobeTrotter will also be provided as a factory-fitted
wireless option for the netpadâ, a rugged handheld
tablet for use in enterprise applications by mobile workers.
This partnership builds on previous collaborations between
Psion Teklogix and Option, which have led to the inclusion
of the FirstFone PC card into the Psion netBook and 7520,
and highlights Psion Teklogix’s commitment to mobile
computing in the enterprise market.

Psion Teklogix will work with Option to allow the GlobeTrotter
