OPTION JOINS THE NEXTECONOMY SEGMENT

Leuven, Belgium, 10 SEPTEMBER 2003 - Option N.V. (EURONEXT Brussels: OPTI, NASDAQ Europe: OPIN), the leading innovator in the wireless communications market, today announced that it has joined the NextEconomy segment.
Option has been admitted by Euronext into its NextEconomy segment. This segment represents a label for liquidity and transparency destined for the listed companies belonging to the new technology sectors, meeting certain criteria such as continuous quotation, corporate governance, excellence in financial reporting and communication with the investment community.
Euronext seeks to raise the NextEconomy companies' investor visibility also by organizing the NextEconomy & NextPrime Event. Option is pleased to attend the next event dedicated to professional investors on September 23 and 24, 2003 in Paris.
Jan Callewaert, Option's CEO commented: "Membership of segments such as NextEconomy is becoming increasingly important. Option therefore intends to be included in indices with significant added values for our future and existing shareholders. Our stock has been part of the Ethibel Investment Register for several years; the NextEconomy is the second such segment inclusion for our company".
