How do I check the firmware version of my Option device?

When communicating to a support desk, it is very important that you can tell what firmware version your device has.
There are several methods available to check the firmware version of your Option device:
Please make sure the Option device is installed and connected to your laptop.
When using GT Connect
Right click the GT Connect title bar and choose Diagnostics...
Click on "Run"
The Diagnostics window will give you the firmware version and other detailed information
When using a Terminal Window
The firmware version can also be verified in a terminal window by typing and executing the command: AT+CGMR
