I need to travel to other countries. Can I use the Icon 031 in other countries ?

There are 2 considerations in order to be able to use a wireless device in a foreign country. Firstly your service provider needs to have roaming agreements with a service provider in that foreign country. Pay particular attention to the tariff of the roaming service. You should contact your service provider for the availability and the tariff practiced before you use this service.

Secondly your wireless device has to have the capability to capture the wireless signal in that foreign country. This depends on the technology and the frequency of the wireless network used.

In the case of Icon 031, you need to make sure that GPRS/EDGE network is available in that foreign country. The Icon 031 can operate at all avaiable frequencies i.e. 850/900/1800/1900 Megahertz.
