Option requests suspension of trading of shares

LEUVEN, Belgium – December 18, 2009 – Option NV announces that it has requested the temporarily suspension of the trading of its shares on Euronext Brussels until the end of the scrip private placement which will take place today, Friday 18 December 2009, within the framework of its rights offering. Trading in the shares will resume after the results of the placement are announced.
