Performance management

Option® has a structured approach to reviewing, recognizing and improving the performance of our people, known as the Performance Planning & Evaluation system (PP&E). PP&E, which is implemented globally, is designed to ensure that individual performance and progress is aligned with the key objectives of the organization. Reviews are held at least twice per year and include discussion of individual performance, key result areas, skills and abilities, training needs, career plans and employee satisfaction. Option strives to make these reviews opportunities for constructive feedback and open communication between employees and their managers. |
Training and Development

The Option approach to personal development includes on-the-job professional training, technical education, management and soft skills development courses. Option has its own in-house training centre, the Option Competence Centre (OCC), which provides technical, product and soft skills training programs. In 2008 the OCC delivered thousands of hours of training to Option people - a clear demonstration of Option’s firm belief in the value of continuous learning. |
